Telegram Ads for iGaming Teams: Operator, Affiliate & Agency Brief
The question “Can you run gambling?” leaves too much unresolved for a meaningful quote. A sportsbook operator, a poker community and an agency managing several brands can all ask it while needing different services. Use the brief below to make the scope, cost and reporting concrete before you commit a budget.
Which team is buying?
| Buyer | First decision | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Licensed operator | Which brand and customer market will this project serve? | Scope, placement approval, order breakdown and reporting access |
| Affiliate team | Which offer, traffic source and conversion events does the operator accept? | Written source acceptance, attribution rules and event reconciliation |
| Media-buying agency | Who pays, owns access and manages each client account? | Account roles, separate balances and a reporting example |
| Existing advertiser | Is the requirement a new account or better campaign management? | A Pro Panel workflow demonstration; account opening may be a different purchase |
| B2B software supplier | Are you selling business software or promoting a player offer? | Classification of the actual product and destination; do not assume the gambling price automatically applies |
Choose the Euro account service for account opening, Pro Panel for management tools or managed service for ongoing campaign operations. Clarifying this distinction prevents a software subscription from being mistaken for an advertising balance.
Casino, sportsbook, poker and bots need different measurement
This is a planning framework, not a claim that every format is available for every market. Resolve project approval and public advertising policy first.
| Product | What to define in the brief | What not to treat as a sale |
|---|---|---|
| Casino, slots or live casino | Registration, verified first deposit and campaign cohort | Click, app open or an unspecified “action” |
| Sportsbook | Market, campaign period and first-deposit reporting window | Joining a sports channel |
| Poker | Eligible market, account registration and the agreed activation event | Community membership alone |
| Telegram bot or Mini App | Bot/app open, completed registration and server-confirmed conversion as separate events | Pressing Start or opening the app |
| Social or free-to-play game | What users can buy, win or redeem; the actual business model | Assuming that a “game” label determines account eligibility or pricing |
For an operator, a first-time depositor is a customer event. For Adsly, a new account buyer is a service sale. Keep those two funnels separate in reporting.
Separate team location, customer market and language
A Chinese-speaking team in Hong Kong may evaluate an English-language agency offer for a project serving another permitted market. Record all three dimensions independently. Language does not prove location, and a company’s address does not establish its advertising rights in another country.
For Brazil, check the operator against the current SPA authorised-company register. For a Great Britain project, review the Gambling Commission advertising requirements. Hong Kong has a limited authorised gambling framework: see the government’s policy. These checks are market-specific; an account provider cannot substitute for them.
Agree what your first budget must prove
Adsly’s gambling test format starts with €5,000 advertising balance + €2,500 service commission. The official format starts with €50,000 + €23,750. These Euro subtotals exclude payment-currency conversion and optional additional services. Compare the two launch formats and use the budget calculator to test your own assumptions.
Define the measurement window, allowed spend and decision rule before launch. For example, a project can require a reconciled registration-to-deposit report before approving another budget. Use your own commercial threshold; a generic industry CPA does not establish your break-even point.
Our published campaign cases distinguish currency, impressions, clicks and platform actions. They are useful operational evidence. They do not establish player revenue, a guaranteed FTD count or a universal acquisition cost.
