Managed Telegram Ads for Crypto & Web3: Scope, Price and What We Measure
Crypto is a niche where the largest ad platforms ask for a licence before they take your money. Google Ads certifies exchanges and wallets country by country and does not allow ads for initial coin offerings or DeFi trading protocols at all. Meta wants prior written permission, backed by a licence, for exchanges, trading platforms, lending and investment products. Telegram’s ad guidelines contain no certification scheme of that kind. This page describes our managed service for those teams: what the managers do, what it costs to the dollar, and what we have actually measured.
Why crypto projects advertise on Telegram
Telegram has over 1 billion monthly active users (Pavel Durov, March 2025), and a sponsored message appears inside the channels and bots people already read. For a crypto project that means buying impressions in token, trading and DeFi channels directly, or targeting users by country, language and topic. The second reason is policy: of the three platforms below, Telegram is the only one that does not ask a crypto advertiser for a licence.
How the three platforms treat crypto ads, as their policies read on 3 October 2026:
| Platform | What the policy says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Telegram Ads | No certification scheme for crypto. Prohibited: get-rich-quick offers, investment with a guaranteed return, claims of insider tips (§5.7) | Telegram Ad Policies and Guidelines |
| Google Ads | Exchanges and software wallets need Google certification, with requirements set country by country. Ads for initial coin offerings and DeFi trading protocols are not allowed | Google Ads: Cryptocurrencies and related products |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Exchanges, trading platforms, lending, investment and wallets with additional services need prior written permission and proof of a licence | Meta: Cryptocurrency Products and Services |
We do not print a CPM for crypto traffic on Google or Meta: we have no measurement of our own there and found no public benchmark we could verify. For the same reason this page does not say what share of Telegram users hold or trade crypto — no reliable figure exists.
What the managed service does for a crypto project
Our managers take over your Telegram Ads end to end, and the ad budget stays yours. For a crypto project the work looks like this:
- Strategy, media plan and budgeting. What to launch, in what order and with how much money behind each step.
- Account choice. A Euro World account, plus separate accounts per product, market or funnel when you need them (see below).
- Ad texts written for crypto moderation. 160 characters, no return promises, no price predictions; AI text generation is used for variations.
- Channel selection. Which channels and bots your ad is shown in.
- Moderation. A declined ad is checked against Telegram’s guidelines, rewritten and resubmitted; on a Euro account a borderline decline can be escalated to a human reviewer.
- Daily optimization. CPM bids and automation rules are adjusted every day, not once a week.
- Scaling. Budget moves into the channels that work and out of the ones that do not.
- Reporting. In the format you need — CSV, PDF or Excel.
Before you pay, agree the scope with your manager: who your contact is, how often you get reports and who signs off creatives.
What passes moderation in crypto — and what does not
Telegram declines an ad for a specific rule, and for crypto two of them do most of the damage. Section 5.7 of the ad guidelines prohibits “offers of investment with guaranteed return” and “claims on providing insider tips on investments”; section 5.4 prohibits unsupported superlatives and “you-just-won” clickbait. On top of that, the ad text is limited to 160 characters including spaces.
Wording that usually passes
- Factual product descriptions (“Trade 200+ token pairs”)
- Feature-focused copy (“Cross-chain bridge for 15 networks”)
- Educational content (“Learn DeFi with our guides”)
- Community-focused messaging (“Join 500K+ traders”)
- Risk-disclosed DeFi ads (“Provide liquidity. Rewards vary.”)
Wording that gets declined
- Guaranteed returns (“Earn 15% APY guaranteed”)
- Price predictions (“Bitcoin to $200K this year”)
- Urgency manipulation (“Last chance to buy before pump”)
- Misleading claims (“Risk-free staking”)
- Unverified partnerships (“Backed by Binance”)
What we measure about approval
Across all niches, 99.9% of reviewed ads end up approved on Stars accounts, 95.6% on Euro and 86.8% on TON (3 October 2026). Review is quick: over 98% of the 13,199 campaigns we timed had a moderation decision within three hours, on every account type (September 2026).
We publish no approval rate for crypto, for any crypto sub-niche — exchanges, DeFi, NFT, wallets, GameFi, memecoins — or for managed against self-managed campaigns, because we cannot separate them reliably in our data. The rules themselves, one by one, are in the declined ads guide.
Which account a crypto project needs
Euro, TON and Stars accounts buy the same sponsored messages, and since 22 August 2026 all three use the same targeting form: countries (229 options), languages (71), topics (41), devices, or specific channels, bots and search. So the choice comes down to where your ad leads, which countries you need and how a declined ad gets handled.
| Euro account | TON account | |
|---|---|---|
| Billed in | Euros | TON |
| The ad can lead to | A website, a channel, a bot or a Mini App | Telegram destinations only: channels, bots, Mini Apps |
| Only on this account type | In-stream video, a custom button, human escalation of a declined ad through Adsly | — |
| Countries where ads are not served | — | Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Palestine |
| Approval, all niches (3 October 2026) | 95.6% | 86.8% |
| Crypto ad budget through Adsly, from | €1,000 | €1,000 equivalent |
Euro — our recommendation for a crypto project. The ad can point to a website (an exchange, a launchpad, a landing page) as well as to a channel, a bot or a Mini App, the account also reaches Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Palestine, and a human looks at a borderline decline through our direct line to Telegram moderation. Every new Euro account is a World account: it can advertise in every available country, and you choose the countries for each campaign. It is ready in 2 business days, with no KYC and no documents; payment is in any cryptocurrency.
TON — Telegram destinations only: a channel, a bot or a Mini App. TON ads are reviewed by Telegram’s automated moderation only.
Stars — not a general way to buy ads. Only channel and bot owners can spend Stars their channel or bot earned, on ads for that same channel or bot. We do not open Stars accounts; if you already have one, it connects to the Pro Panel next to the others.
Every account we open comes with access to the account itself on ads.telegram.org and to the Adsly Pro Panel at app.adsly.pro. The three account types are compared in detail in Stars vs TON vs Euro.
Running several accounts
One Euro World account covers website traffic and Telegram destinations in every available country, the four TON cannot reach included. Separate accounts keep budgets apart — one per product, per market or per funnel. We do not publish a “recommended number of accounts” per budget: it depends on how many products and countries you run, not on a table. All of them are managed from one Pro Panel, with bulk campaign creation, bulk edits, automation rules and analytics across accounts.
What we have measured for crypto
One figure, and it describes crypto as a whole: on self-service Euro accounts the crypto vertical ran at €1.91 CPM and 0.53% CTR, €0.358 per click, across 821k impressions (all countries blended, 3 October 2026). It is not split by sub-niche, and it is not a managed-service result.
| Base | CPM | CTR | Cost per click | Impressions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Crypto vertical, self-service Euro accounts | €1.91 | 0.53% | €0.358 | 821k |
| All Euro campaigns, every niche | €2.97 | 0.85% | — | 257.7M |
| All TON campaigns, every niche | 0.90 TON | 2.18% | — | 862.5M |
The Euro all-niche row was measured on 7 September 2026, the TON row on 3 October 2026. The TON row is priced in TON and is never converted into euros; we have no crypto-only figure on TON accounts.
Two things move the price more than the niche does:
- The destination. On our Euro accounts in September 2026 a click cost €0.355 when the ad led to a channel, €0.223 to a bot and €0.266 to a website. A click to a Mini App cost €0.038, but that row stands on six accounts — read it as a direction.
- The country. Across all niches on Euro accounts, a thousand impressions cost €0.20 in Uzbekistan, €0.25 in India, €1.42 in the UAE, €2.22 in Brazil, €2.68 in Russia and €2.92 in Turkey. Full tables are in the CPM by country guide.
What we do not have: a figure for exchanges, DeFi, NFT, GameFi, wallets or memecoins separately, and any cost per deposit, token purchase or wallet connection. Telegram counts channel joins and bot starts as “actions”; everything after that is measured on your side — with postbacks, and with a separate start or startapp value for each campaign.
What it costs
The managed service costs $1,000 per month plus 10% of ad spend. Crypto is charged at the regular rate: the 20% rate applies only to high-risk niches — gambling, forex, binary options, adult and dating, nutra, payday loans. The percentage always applies; there is no version of the service that is the monthly fee alone.
| Monthly ad spend | Managed service fee |
|---|---|
| $5,000 | $1,000 + $500 = $1,500 |
| $10,000 | $1,000 + $1,000 = $2,000 |
| $30,000 | $1,000 + $3,000 = $4,000 |
The fee pays for management only. Your ad budget is separate and always yours. The ad account is separate as well: a crypto account starts at a €1,000 ad budget plus the account commission, and the order form shows the exact total before you pay.
As a working estimate, not a measured result: under about $3,000 of monthly spend the $1,000 monthly part alone is a third of your budget or more, and the self-service Pro Panel is the better call. From roughly $5,000 a month the arithmetic changes. The break-even reasoning is in our cost comparison.

How to start
Write to @adsly_pro with four things: your project, the countries you want, your monthly budget and where the ad should lead. From there the steps are:
- Account. We open a Euro World account, ready in 2 business days. You can add the managed service on the account order form or later through @adsly_pro.
- Launch plan. Once the account is open, the managed team contacts you and agrees the launch plan with you: destinations, countries, creatives, one conversion event and one attribution window. We do not promise a campaign launch date before that conversation.
- Moderation. Each ad goes through Telegram’s review. Over 98% of the campaigns we timed had a decision within three hours.
- Daily work. Bids, rules, declined ads, creative rotation and scaling are ours; reports arrive at the frequency you agreed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can crypto projects advertise on Telegram Ads?
Yes. Telegram’s ad guidelines have no crypto certification scheme of the kind Google and Meta run; they prohibit get-rich-quick offers, investment with a guaranteed return and insider-tip claims. Across all niches, 95.6% of reviewed ads end up approved on Euro accounts and 86.8% on TON (3 October 2026). We publish no crypto-only approval rate.
What gets approved and what gets declined in crypto Telegram Ads?
Factual wording about what the product does passes; promises do not. Ads get declined for guaranteed returns (“earn 15% APY”), price predictions, urgency manipulation (“last chance to buy”), unsupported superlatives and unverified partnerships. The text limit is 160 characters including spaces.
Should I use a TON or a Euro account for crypto?
Euro. It takes a website as well as a channel, a bot or a Mini App, it reaches Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Palestine, where TON-funded ads are not served, and a declined ad gets human escalation through our direct line to Telegram moderation. Since 22 August 2026 both have the same country, language and topic targeting, so targeting is no longer the deciding factor.
How much does the crypto managed service cost?
$1,000 per month plus 10% of ad spend — crypto is charged at the regular rate, not the 20% high-risk rate. At $10,000 of monthly ad spend that is $2,000. The ad budget and the account are separate: a crypto account starts at a €1,000 ad budget plus the account commission.
What CPM and CTR should a crypto project expect?
Our one measured reference is the crypto vertical as a whole on self-service Euro accounts: €1.91 CPM, 0.53% CTR and €0.358 per click across 821k impressions (3 October 2026). We have no figure by sub-niche, and the country you target moves the price more than the niche.
Can you manage several accounts for one project?
Yes. Euro and TON accounts are managed side by side from one Pro Panel, with bulk campaign creation, bulk edits and analytics across accounts. How many accounts you need depends on your products and countries; we do not publish a fixed number per budget.
How quickly can a first crypto campaign launch?
A Euro account is ready in 2 business days. Once it is open, the managed team contacts you and agrees the launch plan with you, so we do not promise a launch date in hours. Moderation itself is quick: over 98% of 13,199 campaigns had a decision within three hours (September 2026).
Do you publish crypto case studies or results by sub-niche?
No. We publish no client results with CPA, ROAS or revenue, and no approval rates or prices by crypto sub-niche. What we publish is measured on accounts we operate, with its date: the crypto vertical figure above, approval by account type and review time.
