Gambling Affiliate Marketing for Beginners: How Casino and Betting Arbitrage Makes Money (2026)
Gambling affiliate arbitrage earns on the gap between your ad cost and the payout a casino partner program makes per qualified player (1win Partners publishes CPA up to $250), and Adsly, the official Telegram Ads partner, gives a beginner the traffic side. Programs pay a fixed CPA per first deposit, a lifetime share of player revenue, or both. The minimum to launch ads in the gambling niche is €5,000 + 30% commission: we run the whole project — a dedicated manager runs all the traffic, sets up tracking, gives you the analytics and optimises every day — and one tap takes the player into the bot, Mini App or site. If your budget is from €25,000, we open official gambling accounts with a 25% commission.
Every week someone writes to us with the same first line: “I want to get into gambling arbitrage, where do I start?” Usually they have watched a dozen videos with screenshots of big payouts and still cannot answer the one question that settles everything: who pays whom, for what, and when. This lesson answers it. I have been buying Telegram Ads since 2021 and doing marketing since 2012, and the money in this business has always followed one simple chain. Once you see the chain, the slang stops being scary and the numbers start making sense.
This is lesson 1 of the free Adsly course on affiliate traffic for gambling, betting and forex. Partner-program terms below come straight from each program’s public page, read on 22 October 2026; every calculation is marked as an example.
Gambling affiliate arbitrage in one paragraph
Gambling affiliate arbitrage — in the trade also “media buying” or just “arbitrage” — means buying ads, sending the people who click to a casino or sportsbook, and getting paid by that operator’s partner program for every player who deposits. You earn on the gap. If a qualified first deposit costs you less in ads than the program pays for it, the campaign is in profit; if it costs more, you are funding the operator’s growth from your own pocket. Everything else in this course exists to widen that gap and to measure it honestly. On Telegram Ads through Adsly, the minimum to launch ads in the gambling niche is €5,000 + 30% commission, and a dedicated manager runs the whole project — all the traffic, tracking set up end to end, the analytics and daily optimisation.
Who is who: operator, partner program, media buyer
Four parties stand between a player’s deposit and your payout. Knowing what each wants explains most of the rules you will meet.
| Role | Who it is | What it wants | How it gets paid |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operator | The casino, sportsbook or poker room: the brand that holds the player’s money | Real players who deposit and keep playing | The house edge on players’ bets |
| Partner program (affiliate program) | The operator’s own program, or a network that represents many brands | Traffic that turns into players, with no fraud | Keeps the operator’s margin, pays affiliates a CPA or a share |
| Affiliate, media buyer | You: one person or a team that purchases ads | Payouts above ad cost | CPA per qualified first deposit, RevShare or Hybrid |
| Traffic source | Telegram Ads, Meta, Google, push networks, SEO | Ad spend that passes its rules | Your ad budget |
The operator does not care where you found the player. It cares a great deal about whether the player is real. That is why partner programs write conditions — baseline, hold, KPI — and why half of this lesson is about reading them.
The newcomer’s glossary
The words you will meet in every affiliate chat and on every partner-program page, in plain English:
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Offer | One brand + one country + one payout you promote, e.g. “casino X, Brazil, CPA” |
| Affiliate program | Where you get offers, tracking links, statistics and payouts |
| CPA | Cost per acquisition: a fixed payout for each player who completes the target action, usually a first deposit |
| RevShare | Revenue share: a part of what the operator earns on your players, for as long as they play |
| Hybrid | A smaller CPA and a smaller RevShare on the same player |
| FTD | First-time deposit: the player’s first real-money deposit |
| Baseline | The minimum deposit a player must reach before the program counts them |
| Hold | The waiting period before a conversion is confirmed and paid |
| KPI | Quality conditions on your players, such as a repeat deposit |
| GGR / NGR | Gross gaming revenue (bets minus wins) / net gaming revenue (after bonuses and fees) |
| ROI | Return on investment: (payout − cost) ÷ cost |
| Creative | The ad: its text, image or video |
| Tracker | Software that follows a click to a registration and a deposit |
| Postback | A server-to-server message from the program to your tracker: “this click deposited” |
| Pre-lander | A page between the ad and the offer: a review, a quiz, a bonus explainer |
| PWA | Progressive web app: a site that installs on the phone as an app |
| Shave | When a program quietly under-counts your deposits; compare its numbers with your tracker |
| GEO | The country you target |
How you get paid: CPA, RevShare and Hybrid
CPA pays once, quickly and predictably. Your player deposits, passes the program’s conditions, and after the hold you receive the fixed amount. It suits a newcomer because the feedback loop is short: within days you know whether a campaign makes money. The catch sits in the small print, because CPA is where baselines and KPIs live.
RevShare pays a part of the operator’s revenue from your players for their whole lifetime with the brand. One loyal high roller — a “whale” in the trade — can pay you for years, but the first months are thin. And if your players win more than they lose in a month, programs with negative carryover subtract that minus from your next payouts.
Hybrid splits the difference: a smaller CPA up front and a smaller share later. Programs usually give it on request, to partners who already bring steady volume.
A working rule for a first campaign: start on CPA, because it tells you the truth about your funnel in days rather than months. Move part of the traffic to RevShare once you know which GEO and which creative bring players who stay.
RevShare in numbers: one player, six months
Why RevShare feels slow, and what negative carryover does to it. One imaginary player, an example share of 40% of NGR; these figures are not a measurement or a forecast.
| Month | NGR the player brings the operator | Your share | Paid with negative carryover |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | €60 | €24 | €24 |
| 2 | €40 | €16 | €16 |
| 3 | −€100, a lucky jackpot | −€40 | €0, −€40 carried forward |
| 4 | €50 | €20 | €0, −€20 still carried |
| 5 | €45 | €18 | €0, −€2 still carried |
| 6 | €30 | €12 | €10 |
Without carryover this player pays you €90 over six months; with it, €50. One winning streak wiped out three months of income. That is why RevShare suits buyers with many players, where wins and losses even out, and why a newcomer is better off learning on CPA first.
What real partner programs publish
Not averages, not promises: the headline terms three large programs print on their own pages, read on 22 October 2026.
| Program | RevShare | CPA | Hybrid | Conditions they publish |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1win Partners | Half of GGR from the start, for the player’s lifetime | Up to $250 per player who completes the target action | Not on the main page | ”The CPA hold is 7 days”; RevShare paid every Tuesday, CPA any day |
| 1xPartners | 15–45%, depending on geography and the number of referred players | Agreed individually with the manager | RevShare + CPA, individually | Payouts every Tuesday; withdrawal from USD30; negative commission on RevShare |
| PIN-UP Partners | Up to half of the profit, lifetime | Up to $200 | On request from the manager | CPA and Hybrid: repeat deposit within 14 days, betting turnover 3× the deposit; Hybrid needs at least 30 first deposits a day; RevShare without KPIs |
“Up to” is a ceiling, not your rate: 1xPartners ties the commission to geography and volume, and newcomers usually start below the top line. CPA amounts are rarely public; an affiliate manager agrees the real figure for your country. Conditions weigh as much as payouts, and comparing offers on both is lesson 2.
FTD, baseline, hold and KPI: four words that decide whether a deposit pays
A deposit is not yet your money. It becomes your money after four checks.
FTD, the first-time deposit, is the event most CPA deals are built on.
Baseline is the threshold. PIN-UP Partners defines it as “the minimum total deposit amount a player must reach to be counted as active” and gives a $50 example. If the baseline is cumulative (“soft”), deposits of $10, $20 and $20 within a set period, such as 30 days after registration, count. If it is not cumulative (“hard”), the player must put the full $50 into one payment. A $15 first deposit under a hard $50 baseline pays you nothing at all.
Hold is the waiting period before the program confirms and pays. 1win Partners: “The CPA hold is 7 days.” During the hold the program checks that your players are real and unique — no duplicate accounts, no bonus hunters, no chargebacks — while the ad money you spent that week is already gone. Keep a cash cushion for it.
KPI is quality. PIN-UP’s CPA and Hybrid deals ask for a repeat deposit within 14 days and betting turnover three times the deposit. Miss them, and the program can lower your rate or decline part of the payout.
Before you spend a cent, put these four lines into a spreadsheet for your offer. If the manager cannot answer them, pick another offer.
The funnel: click → registration → FTD, with example math
Every rate in the table is an assumption for illustration: not a forecast, not our measurement and not a promise of income. Replace them with your own numbers once you are live.
| Step | Example assumption | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Ad budget | €5,000 | — |
| Cost per click | €0.25 | 20,000 clicks |
| Click → registration | 4% | 800 registrations |
| Registration → FTD | 15% | 120 first deposits |
| FTDs that reach the baseline | 75% | 90 qualified FTDs |
| CPA payout | €100 per qualified FTD | €9,000 from the program |
Media cost per qualified FTD: €5,000 ÷ 90 = €55.56. ROI on media: (€9,000 − €5,000) ÷ €5,000 = 80%, and that is before Adsly’s commission, your tracker, creatives and any team costs.
Now change one number. If 2% of clicks register, not 4%, you get 400 registrations, 60 FTDs and 45 qualified: €4,500 from the program against €5,000 of spend. Same budget, same click price, and the campaign loses money. That is the whole business in two tables: what happens after the click matters more than the price of the click, which is why the tracker comes in on day one, not in month two.
The €0.25 click is a cautious assumption. On Euro accounts in our Pro Panel the click across all niches costs €0.338 over the lifetime of 268.3 million impressions and €0.223 over the last 30 days, and on TON accounts a gambling click costs half of what every other niche pays — 0.0142 TON against 0.0289 TON (measured 25 October 2026). Run your own scenarios in the gambling budget calculator.
What you need before the first click
- An offer. A brand, a GEO and a payout from a partner program, with baseline, hold and KPI written down. Lesson 2 is about choosing it.
- A tracker. It ties every click to a registration and a deposit through postbacks; Keitaro, for example, describes S2S postbacks for this job. Adsly Pro Panel also accepts incoming postbacks and displays leads, conversions, revenue and ROAS next to each campaign’s spend.
- Creatives. Several ad texts, not one. On our full launch, our team writes the texts for moderation: no brand and no bonus amounts in the ad.
- A budget. The minimum to launch ads in the gambling niche on Telegram through Adsly is €5,000 + 30% commission. If your budget is from €25,000, we open official gambling accounts with a 25% commission.
- A destination. Where the player lands: the operator’s or your own Telegram bot, a Mini App, a site, a PWA or a pre-lander. On our full launch, one tap and the player is straight in that bot, Mini App or site.
Why Telegram Ads is the channel to start on, through Adsly
For a newcomer the choice of a first traffic source comes down to one question: where can a casino or betting campaign run without a licence of your own? Google, Meta and TikTok take gambling only from licensed operators they have approved; lesson 3 quotes each of them. Telegram’s public rules are strict as well: §5.6 of the ad guidelines says ads “must not promote online or offline gambling”, and a self-serve account cannot link outside Telegram at all (getting started). Adsly, the official Telegram Ads partner, takes that wall down:
- Full launch on our infrastructure, the main service. We run the whole project: our team writes the ad texts for moderation and takes the campaigns to Active, then a dedicated manager runs all the traffic, sets up tracking end to end, gives you the analytics and optimises every day; one tap takes the player straight into the affiliate’s or operator’s bot, Mini App or site. We built this infrastructure over a year, on our own moderation know-how and a direct line to Telegram’s moderators.
- Official gambling account, from €25,000 + 25% commission. Telegram approves the project, no licence needed, and your brand, bonuses, RTP and direct link run as written.
The audience is worth it. Telegram passed one billion monthly users in March 2025 (TASS). Across 34,497 gambling campaigns in our Pro Panel the CTR was 2.75%, over the last 30 days gambling clicked at 2.09% against 1.67% for every other niche at half the click price, and 88.75 million gambling impressions have run on TON accounts alone (our data, 25 October 2026).
Seven mistakes newcomers make
- Choosing an offer by its “up to” rate. The headline is the best case. Ask what you get in your GEO, at your volume.
- Skipping baseline, hold and KPI. Cheap first deposits below the baseline pay nothing.
- Counting bot starts as deposits. In Telegram statistics an action is a channel join or a bot start. A deposit is only what your program’s postback confirms.
- Launching without a tracker. Without postbacks you cannot tell a winning creative from a losing one.
- One creative, one GEO. One text teaches you nothing about which story a geo buys. Written for moderation, gambling copy passes well — in our data 2.5% of casino and slots campaigns and 4.6% of sports-betting campaigns were declined, against 4.7% for every other niche (source) — so the limit is ideas, not review. Prepare several texts, or take the format where our team writes them.
- Judging a campaign on day one. Wait for the hold and for enough FTDs to see a real rate.
- Changing everything at once. One change per test: the creative, the GEO or the destination.

FAQ
Can someone with zero experience start gambling arbitrage?
Yes: an offer, a tracker, a destination and a budget, with no licence and no company of your own. On our full launch, we run the whole project: setup, texts for moderation, the path into the product, the campaigns taken to Active, then all the traffic, tracking, analytics and daily optimisation by a dedicated manager.
How much money do I need to start?
The minimum to launch ads in the gambling niche on Telegram through Adsly is €5,000 + 30% commission. If your budget is from €25,000, we open official gambling accounts with a 25% commission. Keep cash for the hold period as well: CPA money arrives after the program confirms the players.
CPA or RevShare: which is better for a beginner?
CPA for the first campaigns. It pays within days, so you learn which creative and GEO work. RevShare pays more over a player’s lifetime but slowly, and with negative carryover a lucky player can cut your month. Many affiliates move to Hybrid once their volume is steady.
What is the difference between an FTD and the baseline?
An FTD is any first real-money deposit. The baseline is the minimum the program needs before it pays: with a hard $50 baseline, a $15 first deposit is an FTD that earns you nothing.
Do I need a gambling licence to advertise through Adsly?
No. Neither format needs one. On the full launch our team runs your campaigns on our infrastructure; on the official gambling account Telegram approves the project, with no licence required.
Do I need my own casino bot or site?
No. Partner programs give you a tracking link to the operator’s own site, bot or app. Your own bot or pre-lander helps later, when you want to keep players and test angles.
How soon can I see the first payout?
The account opens in 48 hours after payment; then the program’s hold applies: 1win Partners publishes 7 days for CPA, 1xPartners pays every Tuesday.
