Prop Firm Marketing on Telegram Ads: How to Advertise a Prop Firm in 2026 (CPM and CTR Data)
To advertise a prop firm on Telegram, run Telegram Ads in prop-trading channels linked to your challenge checkout. Adsly, the official Telegram Ads partner, opens the Euro account for it in 48 hours from €650, €500 of it ad balance. In Adsly Pro Panel, 1,949 campaigns placed in prop-trading channels (72 accounts, Aug 2025 to Oct 2026) drew 18.96 million impressions at 3.72 clicks per 100 views; a funded-account offer linked to its own site on a Euro account paid €3.79 CPM and €0.447 per click. Write the challenge fee, rules and payout terms plainly: Telegram bans guaranteed-return claims and hidden fees.
A prop firm does not sell trading. It sells a ticket — the challenge fee — to a trader who believes they can pass, and it keeps that trader with the first payout. That trader reads Telegram every day: payout-proof channels, “pass your challenge” groups, rule explainers, discount-code feeds. This guide shows what it costs to reach them with Telegram Ads, measured in Adsly Pro Panel (lifetime counters read on 19 October 2026), how the funnel from ad to checkout works, what Telegram’s ad rules and Europe’s regulators say about funded-trader offers, and how to spend the first €500.
Why prop firms advertise on Telegram
Prop traders organise themselves into channels named after the firms, the evaluation and the payout. In Pro Panel we found about 140 distinct prop-trading channels that advertisers picked as ad placements — channels built around specific firms, challenge-passing services, funded-trader results and Spanish-language fondeo communities. Telegram Ads lets you choose channels by name, so you can show an ad exactly where traders discuss drawdown rules and payout days.
The odd part is who buys that audience. From August 2025 to October 2026, 1,949 campaigns from 72 accounts included prop-trading channels in their placements. Only 243 campaigns from 3 accounts advertised a funded-account offer in the ad itself, and 238 of those came from one Euro account testing a single offer. The rest of the money came from signal sellers, trading courses, crypto projects and tool makers selling to prop traders.
For a prop firm that is the opening: your own buyers are being sold to every day, and the firm they want to trade for is almost absent from the auction.
What we measured: ads placed in prop-trading channels
Two definitions, both read-only queries on our Pro Panel base. Placed in prop channels: the campaign’s channel list contains at least one prop-trading channel. Prop offer: the ad text or link offers a funded account, an evaluation or a prop firm. Campaigns with spend; TON and Stars prices stay in their own currency and are never added to euros. Most of the Pro Panel base runs on TON-currency accounts, so we publish those rows as market data in TON.
| Set and account type | Campaigns | Accounts | Impressions | CPM | CTR | Cost per click | Per join or bot start | Period |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Placed in prop channels — TON | 1,425 | 52 | 18,741,707 | 1.80 TON | 3.73% | 0.049 TON | 0.572 TON | 2 Aug 2025 – 18 Oct 2026 |
| Placed in prop channels — Euro | 25 | 5 | 31,858 | €2.59 | 0.47% | €0.549 | €5.885 | 7 Apr – 15 Sep 2026 |
| Placed in prop channels — Stars | 14 | 4 | 187,439 | 203.06 Stars | 3.48% | 5.835 Stars | 25.998 Stars | 23 Mar – 8 Oct 2026 |
| Prop offer, linked to its site — Euro | 176 | 1 | 27,733 | €3.79 | 0.85% | €0.447 | — | 18–19 May 2026 |
CTR and cost per click leave out campaigns with more clicks than views or CTR above 25%; CPM uses every campaign. The largest TON account holds 39.5% of the TON impressions; the Euro row is led by one account with 91.8%; the Stars row is one account in practice (98.1%). “Per join or bot start” is Telegram’s action counter — channel subscribers and bot starts, not challenge purchases.
A note on counting. A plain search for “prop” or “funded” in campaign names finds 577 campaigns, but only 156 of them are prop trading by ad text or channel list. The rest are prophecy channels, parenting blogs and words that merely contain the letters. Every figure on this page uses the cleaned sets.
How prop traders are actually bought: inside trading-channel lists
Most campaigns did not target prop channels alone. Of the 1,949 campaigns, 1,553 used long channel lists — 43 channels on average — in which prop channels were a minority; together they drew 18.47 million impressions. Another 218 used shorter lists of up to 20 channels (472,688 impressions). Only 164 campaigns targeted prop channels exclusively, and 14 more had prop channels as half or more of the list; these focused campaigns drew 22,591 impressions between them.
That tells you how to build placements. A prop-only list is small: the channels are niche and cap out quickly. Media buyers who scaled in this audience mixed prop channels with forex, gold (XAUUSD) and signal channels, where the same trader reads the same morning analysis: at least a third of the other channels in those lists (34.4%) carry forex, gold, signal, trading or crypto words in their names. Start with the prop channels as your core, then widen to the trading channels around them, and read results per channel in the panel instead of per campaign.
Who already buys the prop trader’s attention
We sorted the ads placed in prop channels by keywords in their text. Campaigns with spend, TON-currency accounts:
| What the ad sells | Campaigns | Accounts | Impressions | CPM | CTR | Cost per click |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trading signals | 147 | 14 | 5,864,198 | 2.60 TON | 5.62% | 0.047 TON |
| Courses, mentoring, strategy | 155 | 10 | 4,040,425 | 2.39 TON | 3.38% | 0.071 TON |
| Crypto projects | 464 | 21 | 3,009,369 | 1.19 TON | 3.81% | 0.032 TON |
| Broker or trading account | 20 | 3 | 381,112 | 0.12 TON | 1.07% | 0.011 TON |
| Gambling | 29 | 3 | 154,861 | 0.10 TON | 1.05% | 0.010 TON |
| Tools, bots, AI | 15 | 1 | 27,887 | 0.13 TON | 1.14% | 0.011 TON |
| Other | 595 | 27 | 5,263,855 | 0.98 TON | 2.14% | 0.046 TON |
Signal sellers pay the highest CPM in these channels and get the highest CTR: 5.62%. A trader in the middle of an evaluation clicks on anything that promises to help them pass. A prop firm can offer something no signal seller can — the account itself — and that is the message to lead with: account size, the rules, the fee, the payout schedule.
Prop firm vs forex, signals, CFD and binary: the price of a click
Title-keyword sets from the same base, campaigns with spend, so you can see where a prop campaign sits among trading offers:
| Set | Euro campaigns (accounts) | Euro CPM | Euro CTR | Euro CPC | TON campaigns (accounts) | TON CPM | TON CTR | TON CPC |

| Forex, FX, broker | 577 (28) | €3.42 | 5.17% | €0.067 | 3,287 (76) | 1.54 | 4.31% | 0.037 |

| Prop offer to its site | 176 (1) | €3.79 | 0.85% | €0.447 | — | — | — | — |
Periods: the Euro sets start between January 2024 and January 2026, the TON sets between May and September 2025, and all run to October 2026. Moderation is not the obstacle here: 1.0% of the 2,175 prop-related campaigns were declined, against 4.8% across the whole panel; forex campaigns sit at 1.6%, signals 1.4%, binary options 2.7%. Ads offering a funded account had one decline in 243 campaigns. Every country’s price is in CPM by country.
The prop firm funnel on Telegram
A challenge sale rarely happens on the first click. The funnel that works on Telegram has four parts.
- The ad in prop and trading channels: one account size, one rule set, one price. 160 characters is the limit, so pick the one fact your buyer compares — fee, profit split, drawdown, payout speed.
- The landing or checkout. On a Euro account the ad links straight to the challenge page with your tracker’s sub ID. Show the fee, every rule and the payout terms above the button.
- The community channel. Traders who are not ready to pay join your channel instead. This is where payout proofs, rule explainers and discount codes live, and where the second and third challenge is sold.
- Affiliates. Most prop firms pay partners who run their own Telegram channels. Give each partner a sub ID and a code, and you will see which channels sell challenges and which only collect clicks.
The point of the Euro account is step 2: a self-serve account on ads.telegram.org forbids external links, so it can only fill step 3.
Channel, bot or checkout: where to send the click
Destinations in the full prop set (placed in prop channels or prop offer), all campaigns:
| Destination | Account type | Campaigns | Accounts | Impressions | CPM | CTR | CPC | Per subscriber or start |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Channel (join) | TON | 1,408 | 41 | 17,331,192 | 1.92 TON | 3.93% | 0.049 TON | 0.604 TON per subscriber |
| Bot (start) | TON | 395 | 34 | 1,316,205 | 0.34 TON | 1.31% | 0.026 TON | 0.123 TON per start |
| Mini app | TON | 78 | 5 | 94,310 | 0.22 TON | 0.55% | 0.040 TON | 0.113 TON |
| External site | Euro | 245 | 3 | 44,617 | €3.11 | 0.69% | €0.453 | — |
| Bot (start) | Euro | 7 | 4 | 13,105 | €2.23 | 0.54% | €0.411 | €2.087 per start |
| Channel (join) | Stars | 4 | 1 | 183,879 | 204.29 Stars | 3.54% | 5.770 Stars | 25.729 Stars per subscriber |
| Bot (start) | Stars | 33 | 4 | 3,560 | 139.35 Stars | 0.37% | 38.161 Stars | 124.025 Stars per start |
Not one TON campaign in this set links to a website — Telegram’s getting-started page says plainly: “Links to external sites are not allowed.” The site traffic is all on Euro accounts. Channel ads click best (3.93% on TON) because a channel is a low-commitment step; a checkout ad clicks less but every click is a buyer looking at the price. Run both: the channel to collect, the checkout to sell. How to grow the channel side is in our guide to growing a trading channel.
What Telegram’s ad rules allow in a prop firm ad
Telegram’s ad guidelines do not name prop firms. Five rules decide your copy:
- 5.7 bans “offers of investment with guaranteed return” and “Get-rich-quick offers”, and bans “Concealing or masking significant information about the promoted paid product, such as fees, terms, payment deadlines” — which covers challenge, reset and activation fees.
- 5.4 bans “Clickbait or similar unrealistic statements” and “Highlighting personal characteristics (e.g., ethnicity, religion, location, financial status)”.
- Section 1: “The maximum length of the ad text is 160 characters including spaces.”
- Section 3: one optional link in the text, and no URL shorteners.
- 4.3: “Destinations must match the ad text” — an ad for a 100k challenge lands on the 100k challenge, not the homepage.
| Gets declined | Gets approved |
|---|---|
| A monthly income figure next to “get funded” | Account size, profit split and the evaluation steps |
| ”Tired of being broke?" | "Trade a funded account after a two-step evaluation” |
| A fee hidden behind “starting from” with resets unmentioned | The exact fee and “rules and fees on the page” |
| A shortened link | Your full domain with a sub ID |
Ads that sell the account and its terms pass; ads that sell a lifestyle do not. Our moderation guide covers the appeal side.
What regulators have said about funded-trader programs
Four public statements shape how a prop firm should talk in ads:
- Belgium, FSMA, 7 March 2024. The regulator described challenges, a certificate “that the firm itself issues” and trading on a demo account, said “prop trading companies do not hold any authorization”, and noted “an increase in advertisements for prop trading firms on social media” (FSMA).
- Italy, Consob, 8 July 2024. It warned about “funded trading” offers whose challenges are hard to pass, can demand further payments, and spread on social media also through third parties promoting the firms (Consob).
- Spain, CNMV, 6 June 2019. It warned about cuentas de trading financiadas tied to courses that cost “en ocasiones de varios miles de euros” and said such courses and accounts fall outside its remit (CNMV).
- United States, CFTC, 1 September 2023. It sued the operator of My Forex Funds, saying more than 135,000 customers had signed up since November 2021 and paid at least $310 million in fees (CFTC). On 13 May 2025 the federal court in New Jersey granted the defendants’ motion for sanctions against the CFTC and dismissed the complaint with prejudice (court order).
The practical reading is the same as Telegram’s 5.7: show the fee, state that the evaluation is simulated if it is, publish the payout rules. Firms that are explicit get approved and convert better, because the buyer already knows the questions to ask.
Budget: what €500 of ad balance buys
A Euro account starts at €650, and €500 of it is your ad balance. At the prices we measured:
| Price basis (Euro, measured) | Cost per click | Clicks for €500 |
|---|---|---|
| All trading campaigns (1,957 campaigns) | €0.259 | about 1,930 |
| Prop offer linked to its site (176 campaigns) | €0.447 | about 1,118 |
| Ads placed in prop channels (25 campaigns) | €0.549 | about 910 |
What each challenge sale costs depends on your checkout, not on Telegram. The arithmetic:
| Your click-to-purchase rate | Cost per challenge sale at €0.259 | at €0.447 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 in 100 clicks | €25.90 | €44.70 |
| 2 in 100 clicks | €12.95 | €22.35 |
| 5 in 100 clicks | €5.18 | €8.94 |
Compare the result with your cheapest challenge price and with the share of buyers who come back for a reset or a second account. A test on €500 tells you which of the three rows you are in; scaling decisions come after that. More on stepping budgets up in scaling Telegram Ads.
Countries: what the single-country campaigns show
Most prop-related campaigns do not target one country — 59 of 1,882 on TON accounts do. On Euro accounts, 209 of 256 do, because the funded-account test ran country by country:
| Country | Account type | Campaigns | Accounts | Impressions | CPM | CTR | CPC |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | Euro | 67 | 1 | 14,713 | €2.84 | 1.01% | €0.282 |
| Qatar | Euro | 68 | 1 | 8,238 | €3.30 | 0.79% | €0.418 |
| United Arab Emirates | Euro | 67 | 1 | 1,643 | €2.20 | 0.43% | €0.516 |
| Spain | TON | 11 | 2 | 2,349 | 3.36 TON | 0.72% | 0.464 TON |
| United States | TON | 17 | 1 | 863 | 7.60 TON | 3.48% | 0.218 TON |
| India | TON | 16 | 3 | 704 | 4.19 TON | 4.26% | 0.098 TON |
| Mexico | TON | 6 | 1 | 561 | 1.90 TON | 1.07% | 0.177 TON |
These are small samples — a reason to test a country, not a forecast. The three Gulf rows are the same funded-account offer run side by side: Saudi Arabia beat the UAE on CTR by more than two to one (1.01% against 0.43%) and gave the cheapest click, €0.282. A Euro account is World: every available country, chosen per campaign, Russia and Ukraine included.
The 2026 trend
Prop-related campaigns started per month, all account types:
| Month | Campaigns | Accounts |
|---|---|---|
| January 2026 | 13 | 5 |
| February | 35 | 12 |
| March | 311 | 21 |
| April | 273 | 18 |
| May | 562 | 21 |
| June | 146 | 9 |
| July | 165 | 10 |
| August | 328 | 22 |
| September | 251 | 17 |
| October (1–19) | 52 | 8 |
The audience went from a handful of buyers in January to 17–22 accounts in most months since March (June and July dipped to 9–10), with peaks in May and August. Buyers rotate; the channels stay.
What to measure
Telegram reports views, clicks and joins. A prop firm’s numbers come after that, so send them back. Pro Panel takes conversions from your backend or tracker — Keitaro, RedTrack, Binom, Voluum — and shows them per campaign (conversions API). Track:
- Challenge purchases per campaign and per channel placement — the number that pays for the ads.
- Resets and second accounts — the repeat revenue that lets you pay more per first sale.
- Channel subscribers to purchase — give each campaign its own discount code so channel traffic gets credit.
- Affiliate channels — one sub ID per partner.
Judge campaigns by cost per challenge sale, not by CTR: signal-style copy clicks well and buys nothing.
Mistakes we see prop firms make
- Copying signal-seller copy. Profit screenshots and income claims get declined under 5.7 and attract people who want signals, not an evaluation.
- Linking to the homepage. Rule 4.3 wants the destination to match the ad, and buyers leave when they have to hunt for the price.
- Buying “prop” by keyword. As the 577-to-156 count shows, names lie; check channel content before you add it.
- One language for everyone. In our prop set, 87 campaigns with spend ran in Spanish and 54 in Arabic or Persian script; English ads did not reach those traders.
- A site funnel on a self-serve account. It cannot link out. Use a Euro account.
- Hiding reset and activation fees. That is the exact practice 5.7 names.

FAQ
Can a prop firm advertise on Telegram Ads?
Yes. Telegram’s guidelines do not name prop firms; they ban guaranteed-return claims, get-rich-quick offers and hidden fees. Advertise the account size, rules, fee and payout terms. In Pro Panel, prop-related campaigns were declined 1.0% of the time against 4.8% across all campaigns.
How much does it cost to advertise a prop firm on Telegram?
On Euro accounts, a funded-account offer linked to its site paid €3.79 CPM and €0.447 per click (176 campaigns); all trading campaigns averaged €0.259 per click. A Euro account from Adsly starts at €650, €500 of it ad balance.
Can I send Telegram Ads straight to my challenge checkout?
On a Euro account, yes — any external page with your sub ID. Self-serve accounts on ads.telegram.org cannot: “Links to external sites are not allowed.”
