Telegram does not publish user numbers by country or by continent, so the cleanest signal of what African readers want is what they search for. Google Trends, worldwide interest in “forex” by country, retrieved 14 October 2026 (Google Trends); the index runs from 0 to 100, Somalia scoring 100:

Every African country in the table scores higher over the last ninety days than over the year. In Zimbabwe, monthly interest in “forex” peaked in August 2026 at its highest level in twelve months. And the questions people type are the questions of beginners and signal followers: in Nigeria “forex session times” and “new york session forex time in nigeria” are rising; in Kenya “start forex trading with $1” and “top 10 forex trading platforms”; across the region Google completes “forex signals telegram channel”, “forex signals telegram group link” and “forex brokers that use mobile money”.
Betting is the other half. “Betting” is searched about twice as often as “forex” in South Africa, and Google completes “betting telegram group link nigeria” for readers across the region.
Interest in Telegram advertising itself is small but real: over twelve months Nigeria scored 24 on Google’s worldwide index for “telegram ads”, Ethiopia 18, Ghana 12 and Kenya 11, with Benin (38) and Cameroon (26) ahead of all of them.

Ethiopia gets rows of its own because it is a market of its own: 52.5M Ethiopia-only impressions in 90 days — three times the rest of the continent together — at 0.19 TON per thousand, almost all of it Amharic casino offers. For comparison, campaigns that include a Gulf country averaged 1.55 TON per thousand impressions over the same period — Africa costs roughly a quarter of that and clicks better.

After Somalia, Kenya is the country most interested in “forex” in the world — 65 over twelve months and 87 over ninety days on Google’s worldwide index. Zimbabwe
Interest in “forex” in Zimbabwe hit a twelve-month high in August 2026, and on the worldwide index Zimbabwe sits level with Pakistan. Readers type “forex trading in zimbabwe”, “zimbabwe forex signals telegram” and “forex brokers that work in zimbabwe”. Yet in these 90 days no campaign in our panel targeted Zimbabwe by country — an audience with demand and no competition.
Uganda
Uganda scores 40 on “forex” over twelve months — higher than Nigeria. The suggestions are pure signal-channel demand: “forex signals telegram”, “forex signals telegram bot”, “forex signals telegram channel”, “forex brokers in uganda”. In our panel Uganda runs inside the English bundle.
Ethiopia
Ethiopia ranks fourth in the world on interest in “forex” over twelve months, and it is one of the busiest Telegram Ads countries in our panel — 52.5M Ethiopia-only impressions at 0.19 TON per thousand in 90 days, almost all of it Amharic casino offers. How African advertisers and signal-channel owners use a Euro account
A signal channel in Lagos, a forex academy in Nairobi or a gold-trading group in Harare faces the same three problems: getting an ad account at all, sending readers to a website, and getting a declined ad reviewed. A Euro account opened through Adsly answers all three.

Two platform facts push advertisers here. Google Ads does not list Ethiopia or Zimbabwe among the countries where it accepts online gambling ads, and in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda and South Africa it takes them only from licensed operators with Google certification (Google Ads gambling policy). And forex and gold channels live on Telegram already: the readers are there, the signals are there, and an ad inside the messenger lands next to them.
